Patience

Practicing patience in your marriage is so important to your emotional and spiritual connection with one another. This sometimes seems to be the hardest thing for couples to do because it means you have to put up with each others faults, insecurities and weaknesses without complaining or getting angry.

Think about how God puts up with our indiscretions and issues but yet he still loves us. The next time you get impatient with your spouse remember that long suffering is a fruit of the spirit and God requires that we operate in it with a loving heart.

1 Cor 13:4 NIV says "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud."
